Meet the Breeders!
Porter Puppies began in 2002 when the breeder we all know and love, Julie Porter, came to fall in love with the breed of Yorkshire Terriers. What started as a blooming passion for the breed has turned into generations of love and learning! Julie's passion for Yorkies was passed down to her daughter, Brianna, and the mother-daughter duo have continued to work together to allow Porter Puppies to flourish!
Julie is the mother to three grown children and the grandmother to five young grandchildren, ranging from two years old to nine years old. She has always loved animals and raising her children on a farm in Middle Tennessee gave her the perfect opportunity to start raising Yorkies! Brianna grew up immersed in all things animals. She has worked at various veterinary clinics for more than three years, and she is now attending UTCVM to pursue her DVM!
